As I have mentioned before, the window sticker creation dates in some of the Stingray window stickers from last year were really inaccurate. Some of these dates were months after the actual build date, with a huge cluster of thousands of them in October.
I added an extra field to the database to add in a correct build date. I then reworked some of the graphs to use this new field. For now, the only graphs that are using this new field are in the dealer pages (the Cars Built For Dealer By Month graph). I tried to add it to the Stingray Dashboard as well, but it was creating some bugs. The monthly graph on the dashboards has some logic that is a bit of a mess, the code I used for the dealer pages is much cleaner... so hopefully I can just use the code from the dealer pages graph on the dashboard. I'll give it a try over this weekend. I don't see why it won't work, but it's also pushing 3am and I'm not really thinking straight.
So for now, the monthly build graph on the dealer pages should be a close estimate for how many cars are built for that dealer each month. This will make the graph more useful in estimating how many allocations each dealer may get each month.
UPDATE: The Stingray Dashboard has been updated to show accurate data for the monthly production estimate. The 70th Anniversary monthly numbers are still off from about June-October 2022. I haven't been able to find a datasource to correct the VIN ranges for 70th Anniversary Stingrays built per month.
